46re questions

I have a 1999 Dodge ram 1500 sport with the 46re manual 4x4. Would a 2wd torque converter work on a 4x4 transmission?

New here so hopefully this is the right place for this post. I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 4x4 with the 46re and lost reverse so I pulled the pan and didn't find any chunks of the snapring and not to much metal but there's a bolt where you can see the blue lock tight and threads showing is this normal and also this wasn't tight against the servo
