46RE transmission doesn’t have 8 pin plug.

I have a 1999 1500 with 5.9L Magnum. Transmission went out and dealership told me it is a 46RE. I got a junkyard 46RE but it takes an 8 pin plug. The existing transmission has a 3 pin. Could it be a 46RH?

The truck itself has the 3 pin harness. The 46RE requires an 8 pin that my truck does not have.

You said your trans has 3 pins that means its a 46RH, a trans with the 8 pin is a 46RE aka computer controled
