This is Stella. She is a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.9 Magnum and a 5 speed. I got her about 3 weeks ago and have put just under 1000 miles on her, she has a little over 114k right now. She has no rockers, as they've rusted out. For being in NY since new and seeing every winter, she is pretty solid underneath.
So far Ive done
-Plenum gasket
-Intake manifold gaskets
-Valve cover gaskets
-cleaned throttle body
-new PCV valve
-new breather
-new coolant temp sensor
-180 t-stat
-new belt
-AC Delete
-Rear shocks
-Coolant flush
-Oil change
-new front calipers, rotors and pads
-pioneer deck
-Camo headliner
To be done, just waiting on a weekend with nice weather
-Front struts
-Clean heater core
-front and rear diff fluid
-exhaust manifold gaskets
-new door speakers
-LED light bar install
-Ebrake(non existent)
-steering wander issue (RockSolidRam)
This is the first Dodge Ive owned and I'm looking forward to spending a few years in this truck. This is my 4th overall truck. My first was a '91 Cheyenne 2wd with the 350, second was my 08 F150, 3rd was an 08 Tacoma 6 speed and now my Ram w/ the 5 speed. My '08 F150 is gone now. I am a member of F150forum.com and I learned so much from that place, I figured it'd be a similar experience on here as Ive already learned about the stupid Plenum and fixed it.
