4x4 knob twisted

So the ball on my 4x4 shifter seems to have started spinning slowly. I have OCD and want it to be straight again, how do I straighten it back out?

In that case, tie it off and turn the truck in a circle opposite direction of rotation. The knob is straight, your truck isn't.

You can pop the cap and there's a nut you can loosen to adjust it
