So I've decided that I want to go with a muffler delete from mufflex and keep the resonators installed. I can't seem to find any information about this causing a check engine light? Will it or not? Thanks

not too sure where you heard that but it will not cause a check engine light what so ever. I ran the muffler delete for a long time with zero issues.

You will probably complain about the low end loss of power like everyone else does...

I just didn't know if it would cause one or not. I know if you take the cats off or mess with the O2 sensors it will throw a code. I'm just looking for a cheap way to get some sound. I've not had my truck long and I got to say it's the most quite truck I've ever had. Hopefully the low end power loss isn't to bad

This is my second hemi with mufflex delete pipe, no issues. I thought it was me that the truck was alittle lazy on the bottom end but after driving it a month seems like its as responsive as stock.

Had one for a while on mine. Sounds super mean, only took it off after a thousand mile trip with the camper. It's a little too loud for that extended period of time.

glad to hear I shouldnt get a check engine light. I stopped by a shop that does exhaust work on my way home today. He said they could put in a y pipe in replace of the muffler for about 75-100 bucks. So I'm thinking of doing that vs paying 218$ for mufflex

You can definitely get this done cheaper by just taking it to a shop. The benefit of the Mufflex kit is that it is all stainless, it is completely clamp on, and can be removed/replaced any time though. Taking it to a shop usually means they are replacing your stainless, mandrel bent factory piping with crush bent aluminized steel that is going to rust and has to be welded in place. That is why there is a price difference between the 2 options.

The ability to take the Mufflex Delete off if I want is worth the little bit of extra money to me.
