My truck has seen little use over the last few months. Now the throttle pedal seems sticky.

I sprayed a LITTLE PB blaster on the pedal pivot point and pedal is now free.

Throttle still seems to stick at steady speeds around 45-55 mph. I can slow it by lifting pedal with my toe ?

Any ideas ? Thanks

Could be a faulty throttle position sensor. Should be above your gas pedal.

Have you cleaned the inside of the throttle body with spray cleaner?

I would be worried about the throttle pedal assembly - you may want to replace it.

It seems to be the throttle pedal assembly itself. Any ideas on how to free it up.....it is sticky in the upper reach of being depressed. I am a little leary of PB Blaster....dont want to gum it up.
