5.7 overheating at idle

My 2004 5.7 hemi is having a problem with getting to hot at idle my cooling fan is working and running when I am driving down the road my gauge is at normal operating temperature and doesn’t overheat or get to hot what is my next step?

You're saying it runs normal temp ranges when moving but not at idle?

Are you sure fans working at idle?

Replace that clogged radiator and/or defective fan

like mentioned above clogged rad or bad clutch fan might be time to just do a whole cooling system refresh new rad/pump/tstat.

Mine used to do the same thing. T'was low on coolant due to a leak in the water pump.

Radiator can be a bit dinged up but as long as you haven't beat the crap out of it, it should be fine. If not low on coolant I would guess fan clutch.
