I just had the 5100s.installed . I have a Non- Off Road truck. Set the ring on #4. I was surprised at how much the front came up on #4. On level surface I'm showing about 3/4" height diff between back to front....back is higher.

Based on pics, does it appear to be installed correctly?

Thank you!

I assume 4 is the highest so 2.8 inches. That makes a pretty huge difference. And they got the cup on the bottom installed properly. Occasionally that gets flipped upside down and can raise the truck further than it should and be unsafe. I assume its from the picture taking angle but your cvs look like they have quite the angle on them..but like i say about the pic

Actually 1 is stock height and 7 is the tallest. When I set at #4 it was supposed to be about 1.4". Definitely went up more than 1.4". Everything seems good though....just surprised by amount of lift with that setting.

Uhmmm. What is your truck & year? I have a Ram 1500 and it as I thought..kinda, has 4 settings. Not 7. Ok, there are 4 grooves/rings but the stock noclip setting..so 5 total. If you have 7, maybe you have the wrong shock if you have an 09 to 18 Ram 1500

Update..ring 3 on the ram 1500 is 1.4". It appears your circlip is on ring 4 as you said which is 2.1" like mine. Which would explain the mystery right?

I believe for 2019 and 2020 the part # is 24-232203 and there are 7 settings. Setting 1 is stock and 7 is the tallest. Most seem to go #5 but I wanted to keep some rake and set on 4. After driving a couple hundred miles today I donthinknit settled a bit. Actually looks about perfect to me now.

Between 3/4 and 1" of rake is about perfect in my eye.
I find it hard to believe they have 7 different settings on them, but I guess that's kinda cool too.

Really interested in how this worked out. I have a 2019 Laramie I really want to install these on. How is the ride? Do all the angles seem okay with the 5100's installed? Thanks in advance!

Did you measure before? My stock truck shows about 1 3/4" - 2" rake! If you went clip 4, the instruction depict 1.3" of lift! That would leave you with about 3/4" rake...I'm not sure what your questioning? I'm having these installed soon and plan on clip 5 for a level stance! How is the ride?

BTW, did you go Bilstein 5100's all the way around, or just fronts?

The angle did settle just a tad. To me, looks perfect. Not quite level but if parked on even the very slightest incline, it looks level. I'm very glad I didn't go higher than setting #4.

Ride is great. No issues with ride or handling. I only had about 1000 miles on the truck, mostly highway, at the time I had the 5100s installed. So, it's not like I had alot of time to really get used to the stock struts before putting the 5100s on.

Overall I got the look I wanted and the ride is great so all good!

Just did the fronts for now. May do rears later.

I did measure and I was almost exactly 2" before...maybe even a little more. just measuring from center cap to wheel fender (i'm sure not totally accurate) but I'm right on 3/4" difference now.

Pic. Where I'm parked is a very slight decline (nose down). Not much though.
