Ok, I have question that I’m hoping someone can answer before I get into trying to troubleshoot this whole thing. I went through the process of adding the fog lights to my 2021 Ram 2500 tradesman using mpgrimms harness and the factory foglight harness and switch. Everything went great using the write up and everything is working, mostly. I noticed that after programming sales codes using alpha obd, the fog lights work like factory, but whenever I make a 90 degree right or left turn or activate my turn signal while in drive, the fog light on the side of the turn or direction of turn signal lights up as well. I used all of the sales codes in the write up, now just trying to figure out which one to change back to stop that from happening. Any ideas?

That's actually a feature for lighting a slow speed turn.
Not sure what it's called but there should be a customer setting menu option in the radio (or maybe cluster w/ base radio) to turn that off now ... I'd rather they just stay on also.

Hey all. Installed the harness from @Mpgrimm2 . They are OEM LEDs. The driver side would part of the harness would not plug in. Passenger side working.

Issue: both front doors will not work the front window switches (driver side back window switches work); neither front door activates the dome light; radio screen does not work so I cannot see hvac, radio, etc; key fob will not lock/unlock doors or tailgate.

Went over everything several times. Checked fuses. Nothing obvious. I am friends with local service manager, and have appt Wed just in case.

Any input would be great. Thanks.

Edit:

Late afternoon install?
Sorry for the delay, long night at work (not much time for me to reach back out before Wednesday).

Email sent. There's only 2 wires to install at the BCM so maybe those connectors aren't installed correctly?

(The foglight wiring has nothing to do with the door modules or radio... Recheck your BCM connections at C1/A-1 and C4/D-13.)

Did you go though the clutch plate blank (Recommended) or the existing firewall /main harness boot ? (Boot not recommended, it's easy to damage the OEM harness inside the boot)

Will have to see email/pictures of what you're talking about? (You did get the correct Mopar LED bumper harness with your BCM extension harness order)

.

UPDATE: I fried the BCM. New one in and all normal. Going to wire to my light panel switches. Will post the harness from @Mpgrimm2 shortly.

Curious how you fried it. I'm looking at doing it and don't want to fry my BCM.
By cutting/splicing/modifying the harnesses that were sent vs installing it per the directions. Didn't use OEM lights also (which shouldn't matter, with proper pigtail adapters) & modified connectors to fit).

>> This is typically a very straightforward upgrade. Just need to take your time, disconnect battery first, verify everything is back together correctly before hooking power back up.

>> Feel free to message me if you have questions or want a call back.
