I'm picking up a steal of a deal on a 2024 C&C 5500, it's a base tradesman, as bare bones as it gets. I did a full tradesman to Laramie swap in my 2017 3500, all I had to do was change my inside cab wiring harness and now everything works fine.

Will the seats out of a regular 25/3500 fit the C&C, I'm fairly new to the 5th gen's, and I'd rather get this low mileage truck and put everything in for way less than it would be for the Laramie trim. It only costed a little over $4,000 for the 4th gen and took about a week.

How about activating the new radio, heated/ventilated seats, back up camera, etc? I have JScan and OBD MX, I just wasn't sure if there's some sort of additional wire needed like in the 2018s

The current HD line of trucks have the same 4th gen DS cab as your 2017. They’ve only changed the front clip and dash. The 5th gen DT cab is exclusive to the 1500. As far as upgrading a Tradesman to a Laramie interior?? I’m no expert and expect others to know more , but the seats should interchange as long as they are from a DS cab. The dash, wiring and electronics? I have no clue if that can all be done.
