I have a 2016 2500 6.7 with the 68rfe roughly 190k on it. Got into it a little bit on the highway and it shifted between 5-6 roughly 10 times in a few seconds. After that it was having trouble even shifting into 2nd. I suspect a valve body cross leak which I have read isn't uncommmon in these transmissions. I have been having converter issues prior and upon dropping the pan there was enough clutch material to warrant clutch replacement. I have since pulled the transmission, (still debating on rebuilding or buying a prebuilt) but plan on putting in billet valve body/converter/flexplate and clutch packs/gaskets if I go that route. The truck is tuned and deleted so not much more than stock power but it is on 37" tires. I don't think I would need a billet input shaft but was wondering if I need an upgraded pump to support the valve body upgrade. First time tearing into a transmission so any advice / while i'm there things would be appreciated.
