Stellantis has fired ALL employees? Apparently the title was chosen for click bait, although all the Chevy & Ford guys loved it!
Many good points, but in the case of Chrysler, the 300 has been discontinued and part of the reason that division realizes a sales drop.
I don't think Ford has a sedan anymore.
You don't make a premium car overnight by just raising the price. There needs to be content and some uniqueness to drive the models panache. They did it in the Grand Wagoneer, but I don't believe that's ever going to be a high volume market, especially enough to drive revenues regardless of margin.
There are probably more traditionalists buying Dodge and Ram and I don't think Travares took that into consideration. Ford guys are now use to turbo charging and direct injection. In all fairness to Ram, at least, the Hurricane has less of an EPA penalty than the outgoing 5.7. But, the pricing isn't just in the base price per trim level. They've realigned various options so that to get what you had in a six year old Laramie, you now need to buy the Limited.
The video seems to imply that the Chargers and Challengers will only be electric. I'm not sure that's true. If it is, that is a real dumb decision.

Dusty
