8.4 uconnect question

I have a 2017 1500 Limited with 8.4 uconnect with nav.
I am contemplating the 2018 upgrade.

Does the nav. Feature play the upcoming turns etc on the digital instrument cluster like the harmon harmony 2017 uconnect 8.4??

I really like this feature and don't think they upgrade would be worth me losing this feature. Keeps me looking forward instead of at the radio.

I know it doesn't if using Android Auto or Carplay for nave but I think it still does for factory Nav (I never use it but if I remember I'll try tomorrow).

Would think Factory NAV if flashed in, but maybe @SitKneelBend can give U more quality info. It definitely does not display on lower trim trucks, especially trucks running car play/AA and NO Factory NAV. Since you have a high end limited: may really depend upon what is installed/enabled.

Running navigation through AndroidAuto or CarPlay far out weigh the shortcomings of the factory navigation that losing the turn by turn in the dash isn't that big of a deal.
If I remember correctly my turn by turn worked after I upgraded to a UAQ in my '15 with the factory nav but I haven't used the factory nav in quite some time.
