Thanks ahead of time to anyone that can help.
I have a 2008 Dodge RAM 1500 with a 3.7L V6 and I recently replaced a bad A/C Discharge Line.
It had a pin hole in it from rubbing the alternator.
I have everything hooked back up and I pulled a vacuum on the system then added a 12oz can of refrigerant.
I noticed the compressor clutch never engages and I’m trying to figure out why.
The only fuse I see is a 20 Amp HVAC fuse which it tests good.
I’m wondering how to bypass the pressure switch to see if the issue is the compressor clutch or the pressure switch or something else.
The pressure switch connector is a 4 pin connector but only has three wires that connect to it.
I’m tempted to use a paper clip to jump the wires together but I’ afraid if I pick the wrong two wires I may fry something.
Though I would play it safe and ask you guys about it first
Any Ideas?
