I was about to ask why on earth you would need an alignment after replacing or swapping rear springs. I then realised you have a half ton, sill half tons and theyre silly coil rear springs! :)

Yeah, I just hope that I get this all figured out before Elk hunting here in about 3 weeks. Though, it definitely isn't something major to stop me from going.

My truck's had a lean for over a year now. I just learned to ignore it. lol

Yeah but, me knowing it's there and knowing my tires are probably wearing wrong is bugging the crap out of me.....

Your tires wont be wearing wrong in the rear..they'll track straight regardless

Yeah but my whole truck will go to the left if I take my hands off the wheel. I would think that it would wear weird on the front over time too.

Yeh that sounds like an alignment problem if your on a flat road and its doing that. Does the steering wheel pull to the left when you let go or does steering wheel stay straight and truck track left??

Well it's normal for the truck to track one way if you let off the steering wheel, but it's supposed to be to the right not to the left. Definitely sounds like an alignment thing if it's doing that.

That's why I had my alignment checked twice. Pretty much tracks left pretty quick. I figure it's the 1/2" difference in the back doing all that....... I noticed driving to work today I still have to keep the wheel slightly favoring the right to keep it straight.......

Why would it go right if it's lower on the left?

The truck tracks to the right as a safety feature. For example, if you fall asleep behind the wheel, you want the truck to veer off the road to the shoulder vs. veering to the left into oncoming traffic. That's not just our trucks, that's all vehicles.

With that said, the steering wheel should still be straight when you're driving straight though. It's got to be an alignment issue from what you're telling us. Try having them swap the front 2 tires. That fixed the alignment issue I first had after being lifted. Kinda strange, but it did fix it and I haven't had any issues since.

Ok gotcha, won't it track to the left also with the back left side being a 1/2" lower?

I'll try switching out the tires after I see what happens after the spring switch...

The rear should have little to no effect on it. My drivers side is about like yours, sometimes 1/2" lower than the passenger side, and mine tracks to the right if I let go of the wheel.

humm... Well since I had my alignment done twice I would think that it's good.. Maybe it's the tires like your suggesting. I'll try switching them for sure....

Mostly all these trucks have a case of the dodge leans..mine has been .5" lower like yours since i got it..I have two spacers in rear that are .5" difference in height to level it...Doubt it's rcx problem

Ahahahaha!
You too also have the dodge lean.
As jake mentioned, we all got it!
I got it too and I am 1/2" lower on the driver side.
I compensated by running a different coil spacer on the driver vs the passenger.

If you are interested....I got one of each still available.
