The 8 speed swap is taking off a full 1/2 second for alot guys who've done the swap,if you need more encouragement, lolMods include Stainless Works LT headers, 16" magnaflow, CAI, Comp Cams 216/222 truck cam, non MDS lifters, TrueTrac, and dyno tune.
I also have the 6 speed trans, I'd love to swap in an 8 spd, maybe on down the road!
Wheel HP on dyno was 322 at 5800 rpm.
@Wild one , thanks for the help and tips! I need more practice too, this was my first time at the track! My first pass was 15.14.
Get a cheap obd reader, free Torque and you can get your times everytime you stop and start hahaI did 15.2 seconds 1/4 mile bone stock with at tires. Would love to see what it could do now with all my mods and 35s. Definitely faster now even being 300lbs heavier.
I use the obd link app with my obd mx scan tool. It’s just not super accurate. LolGet a cheap obd reader, free Torque and you can get your times everytime you stop and start haha
They're notriously inaccurate, the only one that is close is a Dragy, and they aren't exactly all that cheap.Get a cheap obd reader, free Torque and you can get your times everytime you stop and start haha

Haha I do have a cheaper dongle and torque pro. I thought about running it to see how accurate its times are but I was afraid I'd be distracted, maybe next time.Get a cheap obd reader, free Torque and you can get your times everytime you stop and start haha
How about White Lightning?Haha I just always call her my dirty little white girlI'm totally open to suggestions.
Me thinks TOO much octane there, lmao. Might have to ingest internally to prove alky content. How about White Lightning?
The weight in the bed if anything would of increased your dyno numbers by reducing wheel spin on the rollers. Last time my truck was on the dyno,we had to put 3 big 200lb guys in the box to help keep wheel slip to a mininium.my old 2009 Hemi Quad Cab 3:55 ratio
with about 750 pounds of weight in the bed

Dyno guy told me that it was not bad for a work truck, he did not know about the extra weight in the bed, it had a soft tonneau covering it.
AUX. Fuel Tank was empty
