That is great! Do you remember how much you paid for it?

Thankfully Amazon remembers for me, it was $216.00 for the 6'4" model (that is the size my 2015 Ram bed is) when I bought it in June and with tax/delivery totaled $234.58

My wife bought me a cheaper cover, I think from ebay maybe, for my birthday almost 3 years ago. I cant remember the exact price but it wasnt more than 125. Also, my birthday is in december, and I live in michigan, so its gotten through 2 winters so far and is still in pretty good shape. The color is fading and the instructions were non existent, but I was able to figure it out. We end up needing to roll it up at least once a week, whether it be for loading something big in it, or when we are camping, getting firewood or supplies out of it. It has aluminum cross bars that roll up in it. I cant say whether or not it was waterproof because I had leakage issues with the tailgate, which I just replaced and added a separate tailgate seal on the bed. Have yet to have rain to test it out but before the tailgate was replaced, I would have dust all over everything in the bed. My advise, get it sealed up as best as you can, get a trusted friend or family member to help you get into the bed, shut the tailgate(hence "trusted" lol) and have them shine a bright flashlight all around the bed/cover and If you see the light, seal it up.

If the objective is a bone dry bed, then you need a hard cover and tailgate seal. However, if you need to keep the weather off and keep stuff from blowing around a soft will due. That's not to say a soft lets in a ton of water, but I have yet to see on that seals like a hard cover that drops over the bed rails. So with any soft cover there is always the possibility of a small amount of moisture.
I have a soft trifold ($220 off amazon) it does keep the bed dry but I also have a bed mat which means it keeps stuff off the floor.

have three truck with these heavy vinyl fold up covers. Have had them on two years now, in the south Texas sun. They have NOT faded or ripped, or anything else. Easy to install, easy to use in which ever mode you wish. Come in very handy and a whole lot better option than heavy fiberglass covers or the more expensive roll-up, or fold up ones. Worth every dime I spent on them.

you get what you pay for... that is for sure the case with truck accessories.

That is true...I got to thinking though about $125 being a pretty good amount of money...I know that it is on the low end for covers but it looks like I could build a pretty good one myself for around that price...Fingers crossed that I ATLEAST get what I paid for.

I had the kind of hard cover that you just unlock and raise up on some little shocks like a truck hood has on my old work truck a few years ago...I don't remember it ever being wet or even damp...But it sure wasn't any good to haul furniture or anything.

Well its 6 days past the estimated delivery date and I just got an email saying they would have to refund my money because of a shipping problem...So I ordered a different one for $160 that is guaranteed to be here on Wednesday...I am really cutting it close on time till my road trip...Just my luck.
