I had the honor to hop the Cummins corporate jet yesterday from my Cummins site (JEP) and fly to Columbus, Indiana where I toured the Cummins Midrange Engine Plant (CMEP). This is where our 6.7 engines are made. Currently they produce around 600 engines per day at this location. They have the original Dodge truck (D001) on display which was the first dodge powered by a Cummins engine. Was completed in 1985 and used as a shop truck for years until completely restored. Here are a few pics. The plant does not allow photography so no production line pictures were taken while in plant assembly area. The plant is amazing.
