I have been chasing an issue with my hvac system for a good while now on my 2017 2500 6.4L Laramie. After doing some reading on here, I have yet to find my issue. From the beginning, I have cleaned out my heater core (it's good, coolant runs through it perfectly), I have replace what I thought was a faulty climate control module (which I love the location, it's completely safe from receiving an water damage from a leaking marker light or stopped up drain line in a sunroof..... Good job engineers), changed out some bda's (no change in initial issue), I've unplugged the battery and drained all the juice..... no change, I have held the temp buttons and did a factory reset....... no change. So here is what I have going on. When I do the "resets", the bda's do calibrate and they seem to function properly, until I turn my truck off and they do another calibration after sitting a while. Then they are all messed up. I'll turn the temp to high but it only moves half way and this is on a dual temp system. So I'll press recirculate to get me a little warmer air, because this only happens when it's cold outside. When I press recirculate the AC turns on too. Why? Idk cause my wife's Ram doesn't do this. She has a 2016 1500. But here's the kicker....... when it's warm outside and I want AC, every freakin thing works just perfectly fine and I mean everything. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
