This weekend I replaced the evaporator coil, heater core, actuators etc.
When I was installing the new expansion valve onto the evaporator coil there wasn't any gasket. Just a couple orings at the evap tubes. And the new rubber / washer seals on the engine side.
First question: Is this really enough to hold in the refrigerant?
Second question: how do I get to the AC dryer / dessicant? Did you change yours when doing this job ?
