Looking for help, 2021 2500, 11,000 miles purchased recently, ac never gets colder than 50°F. I have read specs that under 80°F ambient it should be in the 45°F range. I know its only 5 degrees but concerned new vehicle may have refrigerant issue

Yes it is still under warranty, but I’m kind of hesitant to bring it in because I’m sure they’re going to turn it on and see 50° and not even check anything.

Dealer will check the temp and tell you its acceptable just like they did when I complained about AC temp (at just over 4K) when I saw it only getting down to 50, said they did some test then told me it was good, then was told if I used recirculate it would get colder, told them that was BS I had already tried it, but they could care less, my old 2006 2500 would get down to 40 with R134a so I expected my 2022 with R134a to do as good but it will not, had some one tell me I need to add more Freon but have not tried it...

Before U throw R134 in there, U better check and see if U do not have the New R1234Y in there. Not sure if the 2500's HVAC system are using different Freon than when they changed over *** amount of years ago.
