I can find multiple YouTube videos on how to remove the active grill shutter assembly, but I can't find a video on how just remove some of the shutters. If anyone has a link to one, could you please post it. Thanks.

@Wild one can tell you how to do it. you just want to remove the top and bottom shutters. apparently its quite easy.

EDIT-my bad as I think I misread Wild's suggestion about which ones to remove. (as noted in post below. sounds like middle one's only. my old memory is getting older, quickly!)

Interested as well ! I am curious on how much a temperature drop removing 2 or 4 fins would do ?

I'm sure Wild One can comment on that as well from his application and use (street and track):)

Im not wild one but......... I removed all BUT the top and bottom slats. Temps dropped anywhere from 5-8 degrees in normal driving.
Remove AGS,(I put it on tailgate). remove plastic backing noting how the shutters work. Pull whichever slats you want and reverse. Make sure drive wheel is correctly locked into backing or up pops a CEL.
In my research over a year ago I saw that the upper and lower need to stay intact or CEL gets thrown so I stuck with that mindset and it works great
More airflow, room for led pods, lower temps overall
