2018 ram 1500 Limited. Had this enabled once but the dealer had to flash something on my truck and it was taken off. Thanks.

Thanks. I was thinking I remembered where that setting was but you just verified it so thank you but isn’t this setting one of those settings that might takeovernight to set? As far as I know, I remember reading somewhere a long time ago that every time you make a setting change with Alpha OBD that you’re supposed to cycle the ignition on and off several times which I did, and it’s still not showing that option in my menu under lighting in the settings.

Was your truck in run, without the engine running?

When I did mine, it was almost instantaneous after cycling the ignition once.

Check the settings again to make sure they took. I always repeat the steps to ensure they were accepted by the computer in the truck.

So what do you mean by repeating it? Are you saying to disable it and then enable it because if I go back to it and I tell it to enable, it’s gonna tell me on the screen that it’s already enabled and that no further action is necessary…

With my truck, the CSM option didn't appear for 3 or 4 days. I wish cycling the ignition repeatedly in succession was the answer but, I've given up on that and learned to be patient.

Some of the tweaks seem to take about a week to appears, sometimes.

Yes, great idea. One of my SOPs when tweaking is to check the option setting immediately to confirm. Just hit start after the change and AlfaOBD will present the current status.
