2016 RAM Uconnect5 not recognizing iPhone

Howdy, just got a new 2016 RAM 1500 on 2/23, connected to my iPhone perfectly, that day. Ever since it is hit and miss if it will connect. I can use Device Manager and Delete my iPhone, then go to iPhone Settings, Blue Tooth, and Forget the Uconnect. Then repeat the entire pair up of devices, sometimes more than once. Is there a fix or something I am overlooking in what is going on, I us Car Play and this is MORE than frustrating!!!!

I don't believe there's been any recent releases of software for for the 5" UConnect radio in that truck. I'm guessing the problem is either a software issue on the phone or hardware issue in the radio.
As for CarPlay support, that didn't start until the 2018 model year and it was only on the 8.4 radios (which is technically UConnect 4) the UConnect 5 didn't come out until the Gen5 trucks.

Try disconnecting your battery for a few minutes then reconnect and see if that reboot resolves the issue.
