I am debating the same thing on my tradesman. I am leaning towards LED pods, just need to make sure i have a steady hand that day when cutting holes.

It's easy to add factory fogs, but at this point there is no kit offered by mopar.

I did this on my 15 2500 tradesman. Adding the sales code and switch with fogs is the same as previous years. The problem I found is the fog light jumper is 2 pieces. The piece that goes between the fogs is easily found online. The second, I found out to be tied into the main lighting harness. So you can make your own secondary harness to tie into the tipm or whatever it's called now or tap into the fog light feed with a t tap connector.

Do you have any instructions for where to tap? I know you had a write up for the 2012 so I'm assuming it's mostly the same except for this last bit.

If I'm understanding this correctly then the fogs work with the headlights only, do they still turn off with the high beams this way? Did you just tap into the "bottom" (fog to fog) harness as well since you were unable to get the upper wire set? Or did you find a part number for that as well? Sorry for the all the questions, I'm trying to make sure my parts list is complete and I have the specifics sorted out before I start splicing and cutting.

If you finally get this all done make sure you do a write up...I'm sure there's a few people out there who want to do this but nervy about splicing into their electrical system...good luck!

I had the sales code added and the headlight switch w/fogs so they function just like they were installed from the factory. I thought I did a write up on 2013+ trucks, if not I will with all parts used

Found your write up on the 2012 but not the latest addition. I've read some people have a hard time with their dealer getting the sales codes reconfigured, did you have any issues?

I'll do a write up later today. Only issue I had was it took them 4 or 5 tries before the sales code took. Other than that no issues whatsoever. Everything works the way it's supposed to.
