Hey all - Just bought a 2014 1500 tradesman and starting to make some mods/improvements and need help - I read the threads about leveling and tires but still need advise - I am planning on installing Blistein 5100’s and set at 2.7” I am also installing 1.5” rear coil spacers in the rear - I drive on paved roads and the beach in the northeast and was thinking about getting Nitto Dune Grapplers with new 20” rims - what’s the largest size tire I can go without worrying about any issues and thoughts on the tires - and should I be concerned with travel of the rear shocks with the 1.5" spacers. Thanks

Rears don't really come into play. No need for spacers there. You will just increase the rake. I did a 3" level in the front of mine and 35's rubbed without wheel spacers. I think th ed factory rims were -19. When I but -44 on they rubbed without spacers. Some guy on here was claiming with your set up he got 37's with no rubbing. I call bs. But who knows.

With the dune grapplers I would be worried about your snow reaction to be honest. As far as lift and wheel backspacing, I’m not very good at that kind of thing. I have a 4” Rough Country lift on my 13 Sport and my 35x12.5r17 rubbed the wheel well liner until I trimmed a little off of it. No issues since and my Fuel Assualts are a -20 backspacing.

I might get knocked down but you better be gone when I get up!

2013 Ram 1500 Sport Crew Cab, 4” Rough Country lift, 35x12.5x17 ProComp AT Sport tires, ProComp shocks and struts, Modify Street 2019 style polished black projector headlights, 3.92 differentials

My advice that you won't take :D is get the Mopar P5155797 lift kit.

To get it out of the way yeah that's what I did. And I got a lot of "why did u pay that much for 2 inches" because it was 800 bucks.

Up front it's Bilsteins. In the back it's much longer Bilsteins plus bumpstop extensions, plus progressive rate coil springs, plus brackets which relocate the sway bar end links and brake lines. Since it's a package put together by Mopar, it all just works together. No guesswork or gotcha's and the travel in the back suspension is quite a lot longer.

You can run 35" tires that way. I chose to run 285/75R17 on my truck because that's what suits my particular needs but you can run 35's on whatever size wheel you want, as long as it's 17" or bigger. You do have to watch the offset if you go wider than 285 (11") because of the UCA, otherwise you're golden,.

You have no idea what the factory offset was and you're calling BS on my setup just because your **** rubbed on 35's ? hahahahahaha, are you an idiot by trade or were you born that way ?
Have you have any luck on that BS 6" lift you run that shakes the entire truck ? or you still thinking to dumb the look down with dual steering stabilizers ? Way to go pal, lol.

OP you can run the equivalent to a 35 metric or standard tire with a 2-2.5" lift in the front. You can have rub or you can be fine, it depends on wheel size, tire width, tire thread, caster numbers, suspension components etc.
I can't tell you anything about 20" wheels cause i don't run 20" wheels. But there are some people that have tried various combinations and know what works close to a science. Lots of people run 34's to avoid any kind of rubbing issue, and depending on the gearing you have makes it better to run something a tad smaller and lighter. If you have the 6 speed trans with 3.21's 35's are not going to be a good idea.

From there is a matter of preference how much gap would you like to see between the tire and the fender. Some like a big gap between the tire and the fender, for some others a little stuffed looks is lovely, some others will like to slam the vehicle to the ground, there is no right or wrong here, just go with that you like to see.

You can keep the 33 height but go wider. If you go with an aggressive MT and wide 33's, the tire will appear a little bigger than what it is so it's a trick that works if you like the size. You can go 34 or 35's tops without having to do much to accomodate the size, but again you have to pay attention to wheel width and tire size, lift amount and alignment. We have been blessed with huge fender wells that make possible to run bigger than factory tires, but remember the bigger you go the more money you need to make them work.

Have fun.
