Aftermarket Brake Controller

Just another question for you trailer guys..I see the local cd tire outlet has this electric brake controller. Are these universal? it says plug and play on the product info so for $89 I'm wondering if it will work on my '17 Ram.

You just need the adapter specific to your truck and plug it into the harness below your steering column. It'll take you longer to find the plug in your truck than it will to get everything hooked up.

Hes correct but get on amazon I got my draw tight IQ with the harness for my 2010 for less than $89. Biggest thing is to make sure you get a progressive controller not a time delayed.
