Good morning all,

I have a 17 ram 1500 that I put an aftermarket Go Rhino bumper on. I have bilstein 5100 on the front my set at 2.8 and about 34 inch tires. I am experiencing rubbing when I turn and also have noticed my suspension feel rough ever since the bumper install. I feel I need an additional inch but can’t lift the truck because I have 17 inch wheels and all the lifts are requiring 20s with a certain amount of backspacing. I have been seeing this new Eibach level that has a setting made for heavy bumpers, however they are saying it will ride like crap. I need help figuring this out please throw some ideas out.

Thank you!

I sure did but I also added Zone lift (initially a 4", then later to 6") to my Bilsteins. I then swapped those from 5100s to 6112s. Truck handles beautifully. This despite my heavyIron Bull bumper is further ladened by a VR12000 winch. I run 37s on 20x10 -24s.

I added the Eibach Pro Lift springs to my 5100’s adjusted to the third notch. Truck rides great, and sits perfectly level. Got them from Nick@GotExhaust, a vendor on the site

So just so I’m clear you added the spring only to the billsteins and you are set at 2.1 plus the 1.5 inches from the coil? How is your geometry? Do you have a heavy bumper?

Copy/Paste from one of my threads:

-In with the new!

Set at 3rd notch, and got me much closer to level:
LF: 38.5
LR: 38.5
RF: 38 5/8
RR: 39

I was worried I’d be adding a spacer to get the rear back up, but it appears that it won’t be an issue.

Obligatory CV/control arm angle pics - it’s been raining here, not a leaking truck, lol.
