Hello all,

I am thinking about going with the Eibach Pro-Truck Lift (4 springs 4 shocks). I have a 2015 crew cab Hemi with 4wd. Leer cap and Go Rhino bumper with 20 inch light bar. No winch yet but have future plans. I would be running the front in 2nd clip for the 3.5 inch. With my added weight I am thinking it would be 3 inches or a little less. The bumper weighs about 180-190 lbs and a winch would be like 70 lbs. If I were to sag below the 3 - 3.5 inch rating of the Rough County UCA's would I be OK for alignment?

Sorry to post, I was attempting to research more but America Trucks is offering $50 off if I buy them by tomorrow. https://www.americantrucks.com/roug...l-arms-for-35-lift-1218-4wd-ram-1500-ram.html

Edit: I was also considering Bilstein 6112 at 2.8 with the 1 inch lift spring and Bilstein rear shocks. I heard this sags to more like 2.2 inches with heavy bumper.

Another consideration was the Mopar 2 inch lift but felt I may sag too much in the front with the 5100's in that kit.

Thank you to all that reply :)

Sounds like too much lift for your truck, 250lbs isn’t likely to sag your front end that much, and your only going to be netting maybe 170lbs added weight over the stock bumper. Not familiar with the eibach kit but I’d set them at 3”, and you’ll end up probably around 2.8” which is as high as I would go. But keep in mind every truck sits different, and the advertised numbers are estimates, I could be wrong in my estimate also lol

Rough country doesn’t have a good reputation at all. I would highly recommend JBA control arms, they’re fully greasable and a bolt-in ball joint. Zone are decent also, I have both brands. For the small price different I’d go JBA all the way.

Not worth rushing your decision for a $50 discount.

Yeah I guess your right to not rush. The JBA are very nice a bit more than I was wanting to spend. Would want to paint them black i think. The zone indicate: "
  • Only works with 6" Zone kits and 2" Zone leveling kits (included with ZOND70 kit). Do NOT use on 4" Zone kits."
Would that be an issue using with the eibach at 3"?

Zone arms will be fine at 3”. I have mine with bilsteins at 2.8, basically the same. The zone arms can throw your caster off a bit, but it’s not really a concern, I’d have never noticed if the alignment guy hadn’t told me. The front wheels just sit about a half inch further forward.

Spot on with respect to Rough Country gear, and the rest of the comments as well.

I think I am liking the JBA. Do they ever go on sale, or anyone know where to get a good price?

They’re direct to consumer and don’t sell through any retailers, so pretty much always the same price. You could send them an email and see if they have any 4th of July sales planned
