I have nothing against Interstate batteries from Costco, except the US warranty is terrible. 3 years Prorated the minute you leave the store . Why would I buy Costco when I can get the AGM Everstart from Walmart , similar price with a 4 year free replacement warranty. Have had the AGM’s from Walmart now for awhile seem to be a decent battery . Had a set of the Everstart lead acid before that from Walmart , they went 5 year's . We will see if the $30 per battery more for AGM was worth it , I should get over 5 years out of them.Give this a bit more time, then count the votes here and spend money accordingly. It's the Faecesbook way.
Seriously, eight years of useful life is beyond the norm by at least two times what most achieve. I managed ~3.5 years from the OEM batteries in my previous truck; I replaced them with (here's another vote) NAPA AGM's (in 2020, they sold for $200 each) which worked perfectly until I traded the vehicle. My current vehicle is a 2022, and my batteries are OEM. As I expect them to fail sometime, I will likely buy a pair of AGM's from Costco (and pick up a Diabeetus Cake while there) and call it square.
I’d recommend Walmart long before Costco.
