I recently bought a 2013 Express 4WD Hemi crew cab. I bought it from a private party and have no warranty coverage and a visit to the dealer is not in the budget. We've had a couple warm days here lately and the A/C does not work, the fan blows fine but compressor does not engage. I have verified that the compressor is not getting voltage. To troubleshoot further I would love to know what relay in the underhood fuse box is for the A/C clutch but they are not labeled and I've been unable to find any info on-line as to what relay does what. Does anyone have any information about which relay controls the A/C clutch?

Thank you.

Thank you, I have a 2013 - The owners manual does not have any information for relays, only fuses.

I appreciate you are attempting to help but that is only fuse information, I am trying to figure out what relay (grey plastic boxes about an inch square) controls the A/C clutch. The fuse protects the circuit from excessive current draw. The relay is an electronic switch where a low current source (like a computer output) is used to control a high current (A/C Clutch) load. My fuse is good, the next troubleshooting step is to verify the relay operation and none of them are identified.

Have you put gauges on it and made sure the system has a full charge? If it leaked down the safety circuit won't engage the clutch.

I had a similar failure on my 2009. Ended up being the clutch coil failed.
