Air intake

Will a air intake kit for a 2012 Ram 1500 fit a 2017 Ram 1500? I can’t imagine the engine bay being laid differently between the model years.

should work, what intake is it? 09 and up is the same for most brands. i assume we are talking about from a 12 5.7 to a 17 5.7?

Yes 5.7 it’s the AEM brute force series intakes. Always been a fan of AEM had them on previous vehicles.

It depends.
There is an AC line on the passenger side inner fender near the OEM air box that was relocated on the 2013 that interferes with the S&B, as well as a change for Vararams on the radiator cross support.

So it depends what you're installing and where. I don't care for open top CAIs' so have never used an AEM.

Doesn't matter, it'll fit if you make it fit ! 4th gen Vararam I re-engineered to fit my 3rd gen and fabbed a custom snorkel to go with it.
