What kinda gas mileage am I gonna be looking at with a cold air intake, with a exhaust. Is it gonna help or hurt my almost 28 MPG?

I don't believe you're going to be getting any mega gains. It may end up hurting you actually if you like the sound of your exhaust and start led footing everywhere. Lol

I have been tracking my mpg for the better part of 2 years now and the best I have ever seen was 19 and that was really watching it to try to see how good I could get it. If you are getting 28 I wouldn't put a cai on it or anything for that matter. Don't change a thing. No really don't change a thing!

I only have a 3.7, mine is a 2wd 1500. Lol I don't have a big V8 in mine, I drive 60 miles round trip daily to my job so I opted for the V6. I already have a flowmaster exhaust on my truck, and I put the intake on the truck, I'm gonna track my mileage to see how it goes.

Good luck. Keep us updated with some numbers then. Do the v6s really see those kind of numbers??

Cold air isn't going to get your better mileage, people looking for best mileage even talk about getting warmer air into the intake. Warmer air seems to increase mpg

28 mpg from a 1500 seems wrong, unless you drive 20 mph down the interstate

I have the 3.7 also and have seen 21 mpg 1 time. Plus i drive about 50 miles round trip to work daily also. maybe i need to check into new exhaust for mine.

If my truck got 28 MPG's I wouldn't change a thing but with the intake, it's not permenant...you don't like it...take it off.

hahahaha... i dont even think the newer v6 gets this good of mileage

Well I do know for a fact that my brothers 09 has gotten 23.8 from Houston to Lafayette hand calculated no bs, its a scsb with 4.7 2wd doing 65 the whole way, bone stock except we put the spare and some other stuff in another truck just to see the mileage we could get, idk about the v6 but I doubt 28.

My parents with their hemis average 19-21 on the highway doing 65-70 hand calculated
