never mod just for MPGs. Your going to loose in the end. If you want the little extra hp and some sound then go ahead. But if your only after MPGs.....dont mod.

I get a range from 28 to 25 MPG no BS... I have no reason to lie about it...and I drive like a grandpa. And those are my calculations.

Getting double the mpg of others is interesting. That would be like claiming to get 200 mpg out of your Prius or something.

No need to get defensive.

If he drives like a grandpa then I could see it. Maybe he's just in the right conditions. I do all city driving and drive with a lead foot. Lol.

Actually looking at the EPA estimates of 19 highway-He could get 25 with very careful driving and perfect conditions. But averaging 25-28 either means he's off or he drives no city and goes 30 mph down the highway

All of my mileage is highway, and my truck barely sees 60 MPH. I'm tracking my mileage diligently right now so ill report back soon. But my tag that shows mileage from the factory, says 23 MPG highway.

Thanks, I'm kinda new to the forum, kind felt blind sided a little bit. Either way lets get back on track. I installed the intake and it seems to be doing good. Has a nice sound and looks good to boot.

For what it's worth. Good for you for getting that gas mileage. And I wouldn't put anything else on it. You're about at as many MPGs as you can get. And a cai will lower them.
