Ok I need some advice from those who pull heavy.
I have a 43' toy hauler with a Trail air pin box.
I have the Timber Grove ASM bags
Camper Weight 20,000 lbs
Pin Weight 3,150 lbs.
I just had to have my pin box replaced as a couple welds failed and collapsed the pin box. (got lucky it did not break)
My question is this.
I have the new pin box and when I picked it up it did not feel right towing it. Got it to the lot and checked and 45 PSI in it. My old pin box (Same one) I would run 85 or so PSI in it. I know about the line. I am just curious where anyone who pulls something similar runs theirs. And when you are towing what psi do you run your airbags at. wife just had major surgery but we are going on a trip to NC for Memorial day. and I want it to be as smooth as I can get it for her. If not for the surgery I would play with it. But I want to get close for this trip.
