EVERYTHING is pricey to repair when the warranty is gone. On my last truck, the ABS light came on at the 11 year mark. Cost to replace 2 hydraulic gizmos under the truck was $2500 parts and labor.

understood. I think his point was the same as mine. its one extra thing that may need fixed that you may not need in the first place.

if it was a lease then yes. I just wouldn't buy it unless I plan on towing a lot. a few times a year, no. a few times a month, yes.

Lifetime max care warranty for me so I'm good as long as I own the truck.
