So final comment on this subject. Not trying to weasel out the theory by any means, but some clarification on my thoughts. If you look at my posts I specifically said the pressure does not change "significantly", and followed up by stating that I did see a small pressure change in my test. This is because the volume does not change significantly in most cases. Think about it....the truck sits "level" with no weight on it. You hook up the trailer and inflate the airbags to the truck still sits "level". Well, the volume of the airbags is the same in both cases regardless of how much weight is on them. Weight and volume are not the same thing.

actually an interesting and certainly entertaining thread...Airbags aside...if I had 15 nuns at 150lbs per in the bed of my PW...2250lbs total.. would my tire pressure in the rears go up?

Not possible. You are exceeding the payload capacity of the truck therefore the truck will explode before you got all 15 nuns in the bed.......
