I just tried HIDs in my fogs. They would flash 3 times then quit. 35 watt ballasts no relay. High Intensity headlights YES, Fog lights YES.
Any thoughts?

Tell the truck it has LED fogs. That should turn off the pwm function.

Hey everyone.
I have the AlfaOBD app and was wondering which settings would I have to change to add HID's and will I still need capacitors to avoid flickering or bulb out issues? Lastly, do I need a relay kit or will the factory wiring handle a 35w kit?

you do not need canbus decoders and yes the factory wiring can handle a 35w HID kit, most HID kits come with the decoders preinstalled, so it really does not matter, just change settings in AlfaOBD to HID for low beams, works perfect, been using for several years now with no issues on 2017 Ram 1500 with projector headlights.

One of the great features here is moving a mouse over or tapping on the username to see when they were last online.
