I downloaded and purchased AlfaOBD for Windows and have a OBDLink-EX cable. I have a 2017 Ram 1500 with a 5.7.

I have the program loaded but it doesn't seem to be working when I plug it into the truck. I think I'm missing something on how it works.

I have a Big Horn with 20" tires, but have installed a set of 17" winter tires and would like to change the tire size to correct the Speedo and ODO.

You have to select the module you want to connect to, and then click on Connect.

Switch to advance mode (as shown in the pic) and select OBD2 interface device at red arrow. Also check device manager and see if the ODBLink is loaded in USB devices.
