Trying to get my ducks in a row before i do some changes, (7" cluster, window down on, LED's). I was playing around with the Demo and noticed the option for VIN Write then you have to choose what Cluster. Google made it look like it has to do with UConnect, I never had a UConnect radio I had the R1 (non-bluetooth), but now have an Android Headunit.
1-Is this something that must/should be done?
2-What exactly is it doing?
3-Should this be done before updating mileage/hours?
4-I am correct in thinking it is my VIN # i use and not the VIN the cluster came out of?
