I'd say it would look pretty damn good. I left some chrome on mine but it's mostly blacked out. Powder coat would be great, but if what you can afford now is plastic dipping i would roll with it.

dont it will probably look like poo. its weird seeing truck that are different colors have there rims, bumper,etc black. kinda looks like a big bruise.... chrome doesnt look bad on certain color trucks...

Got the mirrors off ebay last year..220 shipped and they are the heated electric ones. I have no idea how other lifted dodges are able to see anything without them and i'm sure i will be glad to have them for the enclosed trailer i plan on picking up this fall for the hot rod. The only problem with the aftermarket ones verse paying the 400-500 for factory ones is if you flip the mirror up vertically it bounces when driving to the point of being useless.

Those blue trucks pictured above look good b/c the bumpers and grilles are color matched. Black bumpers look good on an off-road truck (ramhunter is a perfect example) or on a black truck.

You can pretty much pull black wheels off on any truck if they're done right.
