I'm using a Kenwood DDX-719 with a Audiovox CMOS2 backup camera.

Just finished installing my rear seats and calling it complete.

The next pics are of the hooks on the rear of the seats. As you can see 1.5" spacers look to be the max that can be used.

Feel free to ask questions and thanks for looking at my build.

Installing at spacer and raising your rear seat allows the back to come unhooked and fold down when the bottom is raised.

Yeah I was wondering about that too. My seat bottom will raise up, but I haven't seen or read anything on folding down the back of the seat. Nothing in the manual or cd. Maybe I did miss something....

Anyway I'm totally jealous if you get a spare minute I'd love to see how you ran the power wires through the firewall into the cab of the truck.

I'll try and get a picture ASAP. If you look from under the hood you'll see a plastic piece where the clutch would go if your truck had a standard transmission. There's 2 nuts on the inside, under the dash to remove the plastic piece. I drilled my hole and inserted the grommet then reinstalled the piece.

That grommet is great. Any clue where I could pick one up?

I was thinking the exact same thing. It looks way better than trying to get gromet in around the cable after its been fed through.

I ran my cable under the truck to a pass-thru under the driver's seat (where the amp is mounted). Haven't a a bit of issue with it, and I didn't have to deal with running that fat cable through the truck either.

Is this the only way to get the back seat up?? I dont have spacers (yet) and i want to get back there to see if my amp will fit before i get too deep in to any projects..

To permanently be able to flip the back of the seats down spacers will need to be installed. The hooks on the back of the seats could also be cut down but this won't allow you to use spacers ever again after that. The spacers are the best option around.

Any suggestions on how to make it easy to run wires. I thought about using one of those magnetic screw picker upper tools, but thought you guys might know something better.
