Alt trailer Height 2018 2500

Got the service suspension system on dash, alt trailer height button doesn’t light up when pressed. All fuses are good. Anyway to test compressor? Truck rides very stiff. Not had the truck very long. Looking for a way to troubleshoot the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

I've not seen a lot of information about RAM's rear air leveling system on the internet (they still argue over how it works). You will need a scan tool that can do live data and allow you to send commands to the system. I don't know what tools have that ability. I would start by reading DTC codes and posting them, see what info that brings. It is possible AlfaOBD can do this for your model year, maybe someone who has it will let you know if you post your model year. AlphaOBD is an inexpensive diagnostic solution. It is what I used on my 2015 rear air leveling system.

I had an issue with mine a few years ago. The driver's side height sensor failed.
