Pulling my TT up I-70 and noticed that while my coolant temp was normal ( ~208-210) my transmission temp was creeping up pretty quickly. Peaked at 203 when I pulled off to get some gas. After sitting for 10-15 minutes I headed back up and my coolant temp went up but was still normal around 215 and my transmission temp stayed steady around 188. Once I started going downhill the coolant went down to low 200’s. But whenever I gave it some gas to head up an incline or overtake a truck my coolant would stay around 208 but again the tranny would go up again to 200. I heard a members bypass was a huge help for tranny temp so I just bought it from him am going to install it as soon as I get it. Am I on the right track for that being the issue?
