So when I use to have a car I had a complete audio system in it. I had two amps, one for sub and one for my speakers, which was on a board and then screwed into the back framing in my trunk. Well I then totaled my car and when I went to get stuff out of the car before they crushed it into a cube I opened the trunk and saw my amp rack was off the framing and was just laying in the trunk. I'm guessing the crash ripped it off.

I heard before a dropped amp kills the amp. Now how can I tell if these amps work without putting them in the truck? There's no dent or anything on them they look perfect.

I would take it to a car audio installation place and just get them to test it. should only cost ya a few bucks if that. be worth the trip.

or use a car battery and hook up head unit to it and the amp and see if it turns on and plays.

however car audio installation place might be able to determine why it doesnt work if that be the case, and might be able to fix it.
