AMP Research power Step Install

Has anyone done an install themselves? Videos look pretty strait forward. I'm not an auto mechanic but I am good with my hands have some mechanical skills and common garage tools. The truck is new and I'm still in the "Don't let anyone touch my truck phase"

Yessir! And going strong for 6 years. Had a few choice words and beverages along the way, but all in all not too bad. I had to go buy a right angle drill and the steps took some convincing (bouncing up and down on them) in order to clear the pinch welds. But other than that, no other surprises. I say go for it.
