I have a 2008 Dodge ram 2500 5.7 Hemi recently took a road trip that required a minimal amount of freeway time during this ride I noticed there was a *** *** vibration that would occur once we hit 75 mph and would get worse as we went faster and to top it all off at the end of our trip there was a horrible and loud screeching noise like metal to metal coming from the right wheel so we got home I Jacked up the passenger side and took tire off and spun by hand and its still there tried spaying any contact points with wd40 still there and it happens at any speed unless I apply the brakes and it goes away but once I let off the brakes it's back ... brake pads look good .... any info would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like a wheel bearing to me

If rear wheel check the eBrake pads. They have a tendency to split off the shoe and generate both drag and horrible noise as they get stuck between the rotor and the shoe.

Do you have a 4x4 or 2wd?

Is the noise coming from the front or the back?

Let us know as these few more details will help us help you.

Does seem like a wheel bearing. In my experience the noise would be present at all speeds but could get louder as you went faster.
