Another Arizonan, Another Ram Convert

After owning a Silverado in a past life and being afraid of the old Dodge pickups and their (lack of) reliability, I made the leap, at my fiance's suggestion, to Ram.

She previously had an 03 Power Wagon, but sold it due to high maintenance costs. We looked at a few later model Rams, but my trade had a lot of negative equity. Used the Ram rebates and incentives to bury all that and picked up a 15 Big Horn CC 5.7 2WD with 3.92 rear in Maximum Steel. We held out for this color- not gray and not blue.

So far, we love it. 8-speed shifts like butter and the ride is not truck-like. We're looking forward to a long future in this truck.

I'm between Rams (had to sell my '14 Tradesman), but with any luck, that should be fixed in about a month.

darth, we originally went to Bill Luke, but we were on the lot for over half an hour and never was greeted. granted, it was about an hour before closing, but, they had a lot of trucks, a lot of sales people, and no other customers. Airpark in Scottsdale ended up buying it from them and making our deal. see Dave Hylton at Airpark, when you're ready.

Acyually, I bought from Bill Luke and probably will again. I was just curious about where else might be good.

I had that same experience will Bill Luke BTW...but I actually went in and chased someone down, and they explained "yeah, we don't do high pressure here" and he was right. Negotiation took about 15 mins.

Airpark is the last one I'd expect to give a good deal. Glad to have my preconceptions challenged.

I guess we're so used to being hounded the moment we get to a dealer that it was unusual to be left alone.
Shame. We probably would have bought from them, too.
