When I bought my truck it had a aftermarket exhaust. 2.5 in 2.5 out. I was told by someone it was a flowmaster. But I'm not a fan of the sound under load. Thinking about going from 2.5 to 3 all the way back. I'm looking for a deep deep tone. Not sure the muffler for that. Any help would be appreciated

Increasing the diameter of the exhaust may not get the effect you want. Usually increasing the diameter to 3in would be associated with increased displacement or a new cam that would have a more aggressive exhaust profile.

I think you would be better suited with getting a different resonator or muffler.

Is your truck setup with the 2-into-1 crossover stock exhaust, or dual exhaust?
