This was mine. 1969 Chevelle 427 COPO replica. Car was just a Malibu but they ran IHRA A-Stock so had to make it a replica apparently. Car was a national record holder in the 70's. I bought it in 1991 and it had sat in the guys garage (John Kunsak) since about 1979. I put it back together and went to Norwalk and a bunch of guys came running over saying they remembered the car from the 70's. One even mentioned he remembered when it was blue. I came home and called Kunsak and he said it was blue around 1976. Tech guys looked it over and said they remembered it too. Kunsak said the car was famous and was in a few magazines. I only bracket raced it and went a best of 11.69 with my motor. I bought just the body and frame basically.
